ACA Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
The ACA Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit corporation, separate
from the ACA, established to fund and award scholarships to
deserving children of Fleetwood American Coach employees. It has
replaced the ACA Scholarship Committee, and serves as a tax
advantaged vehicle for donations.
For several years the ACA has been providing, on an annual basis, ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students. This has been a very popular program, much appreciated by Fleetwood American Coach. The decision to form a separate organization was dictated by a desire to assist donors by creating the organization as a 501c3- whereby, contributors can use their contributions as tax deductions. The members of the ACA Scholarship Foundation’s Board of Directors, and the officers of the Foundation are appointed from the membership of the ACA. They are listed below. Their terms coincide with that of the ACA President, and their replacements will be appointed by the incoming ACA president. There are also three standing committees: the Finance Committee, chaired by Laura Bruno; the Fund Raising Committee, chaired by Charles Schmidt; and the Awards Committee, chaired by Doug Thompson. The ACA magazine, “ACA Across America”; this website; and information available at the National Rallies will provide information on how you may contribute to the Foundation.
